Ripple In The Water

Ripple In The Water

Calling in the wind a name
But I am calling to deaf ears
Colliding together, this story's the same
A thousand times, a million tears
Rain on my head
More to be shed

Ripple in the water
Stain on my knee
Gap in my heart
Part in the sea
To each his own they say
To each his own I pray
To each his own they say
Happiness may find me someday
Ripple in the water
Stain on my knee
Gap in my heart
Part in the sea

Waking from my constant nightmare
Only to find myself in another
Crying for help, hoping he might care
Yet my comfort is my dog and my cover
Pain in my head
Nothing to be said

Ripple in the water
Stain on my knee
Gap in my heart
Part in the sea
To each his own they say
To each his own I pray
To each his own they say
Happiness may find me someday
Ripple in the water
Stain on my knee
Gap in my heart
Part in the sea

Climbing to the highest point in a tree
I fall down but try once again
And when I reach the top what will I see?
What am I seeking? I ask where and when?
Despite the blood
I fight this flood
